Alex Morrissey is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in the media and telecommunications sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Lawyer at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) since April 2015, Alex previously held roles as Legal Counsel at Fox Sports and as an Associate at Baker & McKenzie, where participation in a secondment to the Hong Kong office occurred. Additional experience includes a role as Corporate Counsel during a secondment at Singtel Optus and positions as an In-house Paralegal at Travelport. Academically, Alex holds a Master's Degree in Media & Technology Law from UNSW, a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of Technology Sydney, and a Bachelor of Arts from UNSW, complemented by a short course on leadership from AGSM @ UNSW Business School in 2020.
