Shariq Rehman

Shariq Rehman is a finance and governance professional with extensive experience in risk management and compliance. Currently serving as the Head of Governance, Risk & Compliance at Wa'ed Ventures since December 2013, Shariq also holds the title of CFO and Head of Strategy & GRC at Saudi Aramco Entrepreneurship Ventures. Prior experience includes roles as Global Financial Operations Supervisor at ExxonMobil and Manager Audit at Ernst & Young, alongside a management position in finance at National Insurance Company Limited. Shariq began a career in assurance with KPMG in Pakistan, where four years were spent as a CA Articles Trainee. Educational credentials include an Associate Chartered Management Accountant from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, a Fellow Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, a Master of Economics, and a Bachelor of Commerce from Karachi University, as well as a Diploma in Certified Enterprise Risk Management Specialist from LEORON Institute.
