Bruce Pitts, P.E. serves as the Deputy Chief Administrative Officer at the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) since October 2020. Prior to this role, Bruce held the position of Capital Projects Administrator at the Architect of the Capitol from March 2017 to October 2020. Bruce's experience also includes leadership roles in capital improvements at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and as Group Leader for the Facilities Modernization Group at NIST from June 2014 to March 2017. Earlier in Bruce's career, Bruce served as Resident Engineer for the US Army Corps of Engineers from April 2010 to June 2014 and as Director for the Bethesda Soccer Club from 2009 to 2014. Bruce holds two Bachelor of Science degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland College Park.
