Brian Conroy

Brian Conroy is an experienced executive currently serving as Executive Vice President and Director North America at IDA Ireland since September 2014, where responsibilities include leading a team to secure Foreign Direct Investment from North America. Previously, Brian held roles including Senior Vice President, heading the Engineering and Industrial Division, and Manager of Strategy Development, contributing to IDA's 5-year strategy. Brian's earlier career at IDA included positions as Director Asia-Pacific, where significant market share was gained in China, and Director South, focusing on regions in Ireland. Prior experience includes key roles at CHEP, where achievements encompassed managing sales teams in the UK and establishing operations in Southeast Asia. Brian holds an MBA from Open University, a Master’s in Marketing Practice from University College Dublin, and a Bachelor of Commerce from the same institution.
