Mark Turner

Mark Turner is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the energy sector, particularly in European power markets. From January 2016 to March 2022, Mark held various leadership roles, including Partner, Director, and Senior Manager at Baringa, where responsibilities encompassed market analysis and commercial strategy. Prior to this, Mark was a Senior Consultant at Pöyry from January 2009 to August 2013, with a focus on the Dutch, UK, and Irish electricity markets, managing pan-European price projections, and engaging in market design and policy. Mark began a career in the technical field at Schlumberger and has a solid academic background, holding a PhD in Chemistry as well as an MA and MSci in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge.
