Shane Hastings

Shane Hastings, PMP, currently serves as Vice President of the MUAS Business Unit at AeroVironment, a position held since June 2022, and previously held the role of Sr. Director for the SUAS Product Line. Prior to AeroVironment, Shane worked at Volansi as Vice President of Program Management from February 2021 to June 2022, and at AeroVironment from August 2015 to February 2021 as Product Line General Manager. Shane's career began at Insitu, Inc. in various roles from September 2009 to August 2015, and earlier positions include Engineering Manager at Saint Gobain, Inc. and Lead Supplier Quality Engineer at Nautilus, Inc. Shane’s educational background includes a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Idaho, a Certificate in Project Leadership from Cornell University, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Portland State University.
